Storyline

Private detective Georg Wilsberg has been commissioned by businesswoman Juliane Kuhn (portrayed by Leslie Malton) to carry out the lucrative task of following her old father (portrayed by Rolf Hoppe). According to Mrs. Kuhn, the textile manufacturer has been behaving very cold and reserved towards her lately.

Although Wilsberg mostly begins his investigations quite unmotivated, his client’s generous check has definitely done the trick. He sets out to carry out the task immediately after asking his goddaughter, Alex, to fill in for him in the second hand bookshop.
