Pageant

First Broadcast: February 17th 2007

Leonard Lansink as Detective Wilsberg

Storyline

Detective Wilsberg may not be excited about it, but he still enjoys making easy money. He is assigned to find the person who roams around the models’ changing rooms during beauty pageants.

Harry Jonas, a previous acquaintance of Wilsberg’s, is murdered shortly after and it turns out that Jonas has been carrying out private detective work in relation to the mayor’s daughter, who is also a participant in the beauty pageant.

Alex also bridges her time by working an event manager to the beauty pageant. Overwhelmed by lovesickness, Ekki is hoping to find a new girlfriend in one of the participants with Alex’s help.

His investigations lead private detective Wilsberg to a previous accident, involving Rebecca’s, the mayor’s daughter, car. The driver of the car that has caused the accident has deeply injured a young woman. The victim’s boyfriend was the one who commissioned the now deceased Jonas to find the runaway driver.

Jonas had found out that the car had been reported stolen the moment of the accident and that there were several suspects in the case. Rebecca herself was also to be considered. And her ex-boyfriend, Moritz. And the participants of the beauty pageants wouldn’t complain if one of the others got kicked out of the contest due to a scandal.

The circumstances become really complicated though, when the victim’s boyfriend himself begins looking for the car driver.
