Storyline

The aged and eccentric movie star Veronica Kirk is convinced that someone has targetted her. She therefore hires detectives Remington Steele and Laura Holt to ensure her safety.

Movie buff Remington Steele, knowing the star from many of his favorite movies, does not hesitate one second to accept the assignment. Assisted by producer Havers, the actress, proud of the unusual death scenes in her old movies, would like to attempt a comeback.

Although their daughter, Jennifer, is oppossed to the idea of her mother returning to the stage, the film producer supports her dream of a glorious return to the limelight.

It is unclear, however, who and why someone might have targetted the life of Veronica Kirk. Jennifer Kirk seems to question the state of mind of her mother and Laura Holt also doesn’t take the actress’ fears too seriously.

Contrary to his partner, Remington Steele, who raves about the diva, does not doubt the mental state of the client at any point.
