Pierce Brosnan as Remington Steele
Stephanie Zimbalist as Private Detective Laura Holt
Storyline
Frank Dannon suddenly realizes that he can not remember who he really is. Neither intense, nor strenuous thinking can help him remember his identity.
Since he is currently staying in a hotel, he first looks at he contents of his pockets, but there's nothing he can find that would help him solve the problem.
But that is apparently not all, because Dannon has the feeling that someone is trying to kill him. In his panic, he contacts detective Remington Steele and Laura Holt to help him. They are to find out once and for all who he is. They should also find out who intends to assassinate him.
The two private investigators will find out as part of their investigation, that their client has more than one name. Everything seems to indicate to five different identities of their client, which makes them strongly suspect that Dannon has something to hide.
But there’s more. It looks like Dannon has been leading a different life under all of his names - and each with a different woman.
If the allegation, that one of his five wives has found out that she is not the only one in her husband's life, but that there are four other women, was confirmed, it would of course be a very strong motive for a murder.
