Storyline

The crackling tension between Remington Steele and Laura Holt has always been standing in the background of current cases. But now Steele would finally spend time alone with his partner.

He therefore asks the help of amateur actress Bertha Melneck. As per their agreement, she shows up at the detective agency and commissions the two private investigators to follow her ??husband, because she fears that he is being unfaithful.

As part of the assignment, Remington and Laura go to San Francisco to surveil the husband. But nothing comes out of this trip with romantic intentions. It is here that they witness a murder.

Shortly after, they realize that their lives are in danger. The killer apparently intends to also murder the witnesses, Remington Steele and Laura Holt.
