The world of art still remains devastated by the cold-blooded murder of actor Nikos Sergianopoulos, who was found dead at his home on June 4th, stabbed 21 times. The party the night before with his friends, his last brushes with the police due to his drug abuse, but also his successful career as an actor were enough to raise public interest.

The suspect for the murder is a 30-year-old Georgian, who managed to remain hidden for almost two months, before eventually returning to his usual hangout in Victoria Square, Athens. After careful surveillance of the area, he was arrested and led to the Attica Criminal Investigation Headquarters, where he confessed to the murder of the famous actor. During his confession he claimed that it was the actor who had invited him home and then attacked him with a knife, so he had to react. He claims to have upset the apartment later, in order to confuse investigators and make them think it was a robbery.
