Commissioner Schubert


 



Gernot Schubert (played by Tilo Pruckner) in the series Adelheid and her Murders, works as a Commissioner in Crime Division 2 and is a subordinate of Inspector Strobel, head of Crime Division 2. Due to the fact that his boss is always making fun of him, Schubert in the department partly a fairly heavy presence.



 



On top of that, Schubert is always sick or imagines that he has an illness. But when he does break his arm, his colleagues can really blame it on his imagination anymore. However, the fact that he has a noise in the ear and trouble urinating, is not considered reality by his boss anymore, but blames it on his imagination.



 



However, it has happened that Strobel bear the guilt for one of his employee’s disabilities because he dropped a bowling ball on his right and then on his left foot during a case.



 



His recurring absenteeism and trips to Bad Reichenhall offer Schubert the opportunity to work remotely. Although Schubert usually makes a rather inexperienced impression and does not boast outstanding powers of deduction in investigations, he is talented beyond expectations in the field of photography and golf.



 



After his retirement, his position was taken over by



 



Commissioner Schilling



Ralf Schilling (played by Oliver Stern) was transferred from southern Germany to Hamburg. He was initially only intended as a temp during Schubert's disability, but he remained in the department even after his retirement. Although Inspector Strobel and his staff have never taken Schubert seriously, Commissioner Schilling’s fate in the department was not any better.



 



Moreover, Schilling has been addressed by Inspector Strobel for a long time as Schubert. Schilling mostly gets along well with his colleagues Dieter Pohl and Miss Mobius.
