Patrolman Eugene Moebius was married to Adelaide. However, he was unfaithful to his Adelheid during one training session in Bad Berensen. As Adelheid Mobius learned that her husband had cheated on her with the blonde from customs, she filed for divorce and is now living with her mother in a beautiful apartment in an old Hamburg villa.

Of course, it became clear to Eugene after some time that it was a big mistake to cheat on Adelheid, but that could no longer be undone. Subsequently, Eugene Moebius repeatedly tried to win back his Adelheid, but as she has now gotten to being single, his attempts were not successful. However, this does not prevent Eugene from trying again and again to win back her love.

In the TV series Adelheid and her Murders, Eugene Mobius is a very important ally when Adelheid goes on a murder hunt. He is almost always ready to drive her somewhere or accompany her when questioning witnesses to give the whole thing a more official look.

Of course he is always concerned about Adelaide's safety, which does not keep his ex-wife away from the investigation. Eugene has nothing left but going with her and standing by her when necessary.

Eugene Mobius is also kept on his toes by his former mother-in-law, Rosa Muller-Graf Kleditsch, who asks him to take care of all sorts of trifles or craft activities. In return, he treats his former mother-in-law with a delicious meal or coffee and cake.

The situation becomes difficult for Eugene Moebius, when Adelheid meets a driving instructor through a personal ad that her mother placed. In his jealousy, he refuses to accompany Adelheid in her investigations anymore. He states that the reason for this is that he has no time, because he has a new co-driver in the patrol car, a pretty young policewoman.

Although he refuses to accompany Adelheid, this does not prevent the jealous Eugen to surveil his ex-wife in his spare time. In this way he hopes to find out how far the relationship with the instructor may have gone.
