First Broadcast in Germany: November 21st 1989
Tom Selleck as Private Detective Thomas Magnum
Storyline
The luxurious estate of famous writer Robin Masters is empty - no one is home. During this time, burglars got access into the well-secured house. Apparently they had it in for a valuable statue, which, however, was not in the house.
The sought sculpture is to be donated to a museum, according to Masters’ wishes. Previously, however, it will be exhibited during a cruise on the ship. The private investigator Magnum and his friends, T.C., Rick, and Masters, are assigned the job of guarding the statue and ensuring that it arrives safely back in the harbour.
As the three could see during the cruise, it looks like some of the passengers also have a very strong interest in the sculpture. The whole matter will suddenly turn into a nightmare, when the statue disappears in the morning.
