Episode: The Morning After

First Broadcast in Germany: 07.09.1994

Tony Curtis as Danny Wilde

Sir Roger Moore as Lord Brett Sinclair

Storyline

Lord Brett Sinclair apparently had a pretty wild party. At least he wakes up after one such in an exclusive hotel in Stockholm. Unfortunately, he lacks any memory of the party. When his friend Danny Wilde picks him up, an attractive woman appears at the door of the suite, introducing herself as Lady Kristen Sinclair.

The two of them are shown a marriage certificate, which looks quite real, but what does not prevent the friends from believing it to be a large-scale fraud. First of all, Lord Sinclair tries to redeem himself, but Kristen rejects it with indignation. Danny, convinced that his friend was somehow tricked, conducts some research to find evidence of this fraudulent marriage. As part of his investigation, he meets Bibi Bergmann, their target’s judo teacher.

Before providing any evidence, however, Danny and Bibi are captured and it becomes clear that his friend Brett has become the victim of a refined politically motivated conspiracy at large scale. Now he must just prove it to make Lord Sinclair a free man again.
