Season 1 – Episode: Never Again, Never Again

First Broadcast in Germany: May 19th 1991

Tom Selleck as Private Detective Thomas Magnum

Storyline

After the Holocaust, Jewish couple Lena and Saul Greenburg has settled in Hawaii. To earn a living, they run a small shirt business. When Thomas Magnum learns that the couple has surprisingly given up the business, he runs to them to ask why. On his arrival, he sees how Saul is picked up by an ambulance, but never arrives at the hospital.

Because Lena suspects that Saul was kidnapped by former Nazis, Magnum brings the woman initially at the estate of Robin Masters and starts his investigation. While looking at a photo of the couple during their honeymoon, he notices that Lena had no concentration camp tattoo on her arm at that time. On his return, the private eye finds Higgins lying unconscious on the floor and that Lena Greensburg is untraceable.

With his friend Rick, he gathers that the Greenburgs were only passing themselves as Jews and, in order to support their false identity, Lena has also gotten a tattoo on her arm.

Magnum finds out that Dr. Kessler, who has recently examined Saul, has recognized him as a Nazi and has given his name to members of the Israeli secret service. When Lena Greensburg murders Dr. Kessler and embarks on a search for her husband, Magnum tries to prevent further violence.
