David Freeman

Contrary to his appearance, the under 1.80 m David Freeman is a to class criminal defence lawyer. He distinguishes himself from his peers through his clothes because he wears shabby and poorly tailored suits with a little style in court. However, he has great charisma and authority and is committed to his clients. The curly-haired Freeman has brown eyes and a flabby, sallow skin.

Although he apparently ignores his clothing, this is not the case for his office. It is located in the Freeman-Building, an elegant four-storey building in the heart of the financial district. The ground floor hosts a cosy lobby, a small law library and a conference room from which there is access to a small, entwined ivy courtyard.

After he bought the building, he rebuild it and used a lot of glass on the ground floor to create an airy feel. His own office is on the 1st floor. An approximately 4x6 meters large Persian rug lies on a dark stage in the middle of the room. Next to his desk in rosewood are another 2-3 sofas and various matching chairs and on the walls hang several original prints.

The David Freeman & Associates Law Firm has 7 employees, but no partner, and is one of the most famous in all of San Francisco. None of its employees have lasted for longer than 4 years with him, because Freeman has some defects. He cannot delegate. His secretary phoned and stamped letters - but only within the USA and only if they are less than 3 pages long. Letters of more than 3 pages are stamped by Freeman himself.

Moreover, he also handles all paperwork, making the filing and running errands. He checks every statement and every protocol. There are good private investigators for this kind of work, but no one does it better than him.

He pays $ 135 per hour for the work of his staff and charges $ 500 for his own work. An hour before the court is calculated at $ 1,500. When a client hires the David Freeman & Associates law firm, he also gets Freeman. Without exception. And that's exactly what displeases his team after a few years, because they never gain any court. Phyllis Freeman's personal secretary, however, has been employed for over 30 years.

The later well-known lawyer has been having the habit of celebrating victories as soon as they occur even as a student. After all, you don’t know when the next victory will come. Today he likes to celebrate in the Crown Room at the Fairmont Hotel with a wonderful view of the city and a bottle of Cognac Paradis.

The lawyer lives on Pine Avenue, below the top of Nob Hill in a sparsely furnished apartment. On the ground floor of the house is one of the oldest and best French restaurants in the city, which Freeman visits about ten times a month, and in which he has his own wine cellar.
