In the early 50s, the successful radio show, The Amazing Mr. Malone was also filmed. Here, Lee Tracy played the role of John Joseph Malone.

Lee Tracy was a vibrant man with only a few threads of hair, who was possibly the fastest speaker on screen. Malone was a criminal defence attorney in Chicago, who has completed some work as a detective to help his clients.
