Leonard Lansink as Detective Wilsberg
Storyline
Marie Kaiser suspects infidelity in her relationship. She therefore commissions private detective Wilsberg to follow her husband and find out whether he is getting some on the side.
Wilsberg watches the professor at the university and discovers that he is cheating on his wife with a student. When the detective takes a photograph, the professor falls dead after several gun shots.
Since Inspector Anna Springer immediately suspects the wife and because she also only has a weak alibi, Wilsberg assigns his goddaughter Alex to legally represent Mrs. Kaiser. Furthermore, Ekki is requested to perform some undercover investigation work at the university clinic. Apart from this, he should also find out about the alibi’s of the victim’s colleagues. He should also try to bring to light clues that would point to a suspect other than the victim’s wife.
Based on Ekki‘s investigations, Wilsberg can recognize that there are several suspects who may have murdered the professor. Among his colleagues is also a former lover, who was feeling cheated by the deceased. The innocence of the suspect is proven step by step and Wilsberg’s investigation shows that Marie Kaiser is possibly hiding a dark secret.
