Storyline

In the evening of a gala ceremony, Remington Steele and Laura Holt make the acquaintance of three older movie stars.

After coping with a series of strange accidents, they hire the two private investigators to reveal the reasons for these accidents. In the course of their investigation a rich member of the Lost Angeles high society is murdered.

Here, Laura and Remington are seriously injured and need to be admitted to a hospital. From a hospital bed they inform Mildred Krebs about the current events, as well as about the status of the investigations.

Gradually, it becomes clear that the danger has by no means been overcome. Everything indicates that Remington Steele is still in great risk and that someone intends on murdering him.

It is just the motive and the perpetrator’s identity that remains in the dark.
