Storyline

A call girl named Clarissa finds the body of a well-known industrialist in her apartment. At first, she informs her friend and financial adviser, Bernard, and asks him for help.

Bernard, Mildred Krebs’ nephew, then contacts private investigator Remington Steele. In order to spare Mildred the excitement Remington meets the college student, Bernard, as well as Clarissa, outside the office to discuss their next steps.

During the inquiries, Remington Steele realizes that the CEO was murdered by a professional, which means that someone provided the means to pay the killer for his deed.

At this stage, Laura Holt does not know anything about the new case. Then Laura Holt becomes the victim of mistaken identity. The killer, who has not been paid yet for the murder of the chief executive, confuses her with Clarissa, so that Laura is now the killer’s main target.
