Pierce Brosnan as Remington Steele
Stephanie Zimbalist as Private Detective Laura Holt
Storyline
Private investigator Remington Steele is quite surprised when he receives a visit from two FBI agents. When they present him with a porn magazine, containing a picture of his partner Laura Holt, he can hardly describe it as a surprise anymore.
The two agents, Colby and Rhodes, explain to him that they are looking for Douglas Veenhof, the photographer who has taken these pictures. Meanwhile, Mildred Krebs is busy keeping this Veenhof safe from Colby and Rhodes.
When Remington Steele shows the magazine to his partner, Laura Holt, she becomes very angry at the sight. Shortly after, the two find out that Colby and Rhodes are not working for the FBI, but as hitmen for the Mafia.
Veenhof admits to the two private investigators that these photographs are only montages. However, when he tells them, that he has also shot the wife of a candidate for the governor’s position, thereby threatening his career in polics, Remington and Laura are convinced that he is the mastermind behind the search for Veenhof.
After this conversation, the two private investigators leave Veenhof in a safe hiding place and go to the photo studio. There they meet Michael Fitzgerald, who tells them that his wife had also been photographed by Veenhof. What is controversial is that Michael and Eileen Fitzgerald are currently in a witness protection program because of their testimony in a Mafia trial.
Thereby, Eileen and Michael receives a new name and a new address, and this secret must by no means reach the two Mafia assassins.
