Storyline

Athlete Joan Grey is preparing for a triathlon, when growing evidence of her being pursued begins terrifying her. Since the triathlon is imminent, Joan decides to swap her race number at the competition with another runner to divert attention from herself.

The sporty private investigator Laura Holt is attending this triathlon as well and Joan Grey has changed their numbers without letting her know. This means that Laura has moved, without her knowledge, in the focus of some goons..

After the planned abduction barely fails, Laura Holt and Remington Steele begin their research. They find out that Laura was wearing the number that was supposed to be worn by Joan Grey.

Meanwhile, Joan Grey has gone into hiding, making it difficult for both the criminals and the private investigator to find her. However, the two detectives set out to complete their work immediately. They know that they must find Joan before the goons do.

However, the private detective and her partner still do not know what really lies behind this issue.
