Steele Knuckles and Glass Jaws

Pierce Brosnan as Remington Steele

Stephanie Zimbalist as Private Detective Laura Holt

Storyline

Max is being followed by two professional killers and is then shot. Just before the amateur boxer died, he hid a baby in his locker at the boxing club, who is later found by the boxer Sinclair. He first turns to his trainer, Barney, and then to his old friend, Remington Steele.

Initially, Remington and Laura hide both the baby and Sinclair and Barney in her apartment. Shortly after Remington Steele is kidnapped. The gangster boss, Barber, informs Steele that the infant he is looking for is his nephew, who is also the sole heir of his uncle’s company.

Barber makes it extremely clear to Remington that he wants the baby back at any cost and that he would do anything to get it back healthy. During Steele’s conversation with Barber, Laura Holt receives visit from Gina. She explains to the detective that she is the mother of the baby.

She had allowed the baby to be kidnapped by the deceased Max, so that her son would not be involved in the affairs of her brother. A little later, Gina is kidnapped by the crooks of her brother. The gangsters are threatening to kill the child's mother if they are not given the baby.

Further investigation into this matter provides information about Barber’s high debts to Anthony Torrance, a gangster with much more power and influence than Barber himself. According to this information, Barber had bet his last money on the boxer Flynn during a boxing match where he was to face Sinclair.

Does this information help the two detectives free Gina and can these circumstances lead to a satisfactory conclusion?
