Stephanie Zimbalist as Private Detective Laura Holt
Â
Storyline
Although Laura Holt and Remington Steele’s honeymoon in Mexico has been quite different than originally expected, work calls them back into the office.
Â
Now represented by Gladys Lynch, the Immigration Authorities still want to prove that the couple’s marriage is only a sham to keep Briton Remington Steele in the US. Mrs. Lynch is thereby working with alleged archaeologist Tony Roselli.
Â
Roselli had succeeded in gaining the confidence of the detectives after rescuing Laura Holt from a few crooks during an attack in Mexico.
Â
As if the investigation by the Immigration Authorities would not suffice, a former girlfriend of Remington Steele also appears – exactly when Laura and Remington pretend to be a happy couple in front of the official, Lynch.
Â
Shannon, who would have loved to be Mrs. Steele herself, immediately approaches Remington and Laura tries to arouse his jealousy by going out with Tony Roselli. In addition to these private problems, the Steele Detective Agency also receives a commission from the trustee of an estate.
Â
Norman Metzger believes that the painting The Boy with the Flute has been stolen.
