Storyline

After a jewel heist liable for insurance, she turns to private detectives Remington Steele and Laura Holt.

On behalf of the insurance company, Remington and Laura are to find the jewel thief Eddie Grogan. As part of their investigation the private detectives find out that Grogan is a gambler and is currently residing in Las Vegas. There they find the wanted man in a casino playing poker for the highest stakes.

Remington Steele devises a plan to beat Grogan at poker, thereby borrowing the necessary change from his client. But much to the chagrin of the two private investigators, things don’t go according to plan. On the contrary, it is Grogan who eliminates Remington Steele and subsequently, pursued by Remington Steele and Laura Holt, bites the dust with all the winnings.

In the meantime, Steele is being observed by Norman Keyes, an employee of the insurance agency. Keyes is convinced that Remington Steele is a con artist.
