Storyline

A wealthy businessman wishes that Rockford perform a check on his possible future stepson. The private investigator immediately sets out to Newark in order to make inquiries into the past of the man. However, once in Newark, his investigation is not making the expected progress. Quite the contrary - the police chief would even have him out of town.
