Storyline

Kate's son has supposedly died in a traffic accident. Kate, an old family friend of Rockford’s, asks detective Jim Rockford for his help. He should investigate the death of her son because she does not believe in accidental death.

Private detective Rockford finds out during his investigations that Sergeant Wilson, a former colleague of the deceased, has ties to the mafia. Is there a connection to the death of Kate's son?
