James Garner as Detective Rockford

 

Storyline

Charlie is a former cellmate of Jim Rockford’s. Charlie is accused of murdering his wife. Unfortunately, Charlie cannot prove that he was together with a married woman at the time his wife was murdered. So he asks his old pal for help.

Detective Rockford promises to help Charlie. He begins his investigation and sets out to search for the married Linda, so that she may eliberate Charlie from all suspicions.
