James Garner as Detective Rockford

 

Storyline

An employee of Aura Lee’s, owner of a boutique who has recently been found dead, commissions private detective Rockford, after the police announced that a drug overdose was responsible for the death of Aura Lee.

Since the deceased’s employee does not agree with the police, she hires Jim Rockford to find out what led to the death of her boss. The detective begins his investigation, noting that the deceased was good friends with a senator.
