Storyline

In prison, Jim Rockford has been cellmates with Gandy. Gandy was sentenced for 20 years in prison for the murder of his wife, but insists that he did not kill his wife.

Gandy commissions his old friend Rockford with an investigation into this murder case, in order to possibly finally prove his innocence. During his investigation, the private investigator meets Eunice, who is now married to a doctor. The further Rockford advances with his research, the more information he uncovers and the more inconsistencies he discovers in this murder case.
