Storyline

Detective Rockford is hired by Doris Parker to find the real reason for the death of her husband, the manager of a finance company.

Although the head of the firm, Mr. Fielder, warns Rockford about a further involvement in the case, this does not prevent Rockford from continuing his investigation.
